PASTORAL CARE
The
pastoral team was started in 1982 by father Broos. Before that
Sr.Tarcisius Heymink used to bring Holy Communion to the sick. The
pastoral team is composed of the Chaplain, Katechist, hospital
employees and neighbours. The hospital has a beautiful chapel
dedicated to St.Joannesde Deo, patron saint to one of the founding
congregations, Brothers of Mercy of St Joannes the Deo of the
Netherlands.
Since
the arrival of the Chaplain, Father Thomas Billingi, in June 2016
spiritual care is more readily available. There is daily Holy Mass in
the chapel. The priests studying in COTC join in especially when the
Chaplain is not available.
